An Bang Beach for beach Lovers
An Bang always has a special place in visitors' heart with its laid-back restaurants, late-night bars, water sport activities and live music and so hidden gems for you to explore.
There are many places that people do in their free time to relax in Hoi An . Among a long list of various places, there is one I’m interested in, that is An Bang Beach. It is a beautiful 4km stretch of sand north of its neighbouring beach, Cua Dai.
Since the recent erosion at Cua Dai Beach, resulting in the loss of sand and a few businesses, more locals and tourists now flock to An Bang Beach. This venue is an ideal destination for you to visit near Hoi An ancient town. It is famous for its pristine natural beauty and relaxing vibe. An Bang beach is at its best beauty during the sunrise and the sunset. This beach is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying beach activities The parking fees is 5.000 for motobike and 30.000 for car.
From my experience, March-September is the most ideal period to visit this place. Blue sea, cool air, little rain, you can go to the beach in the early morning and watch the sunset in the afternoon. The road to An Bang beach is very and inviting, so you can choose bicycles, motorbikes or cars to come there. An Bang always has a special place in visitors' heart with its laid-back restaurants, late-night bars, water sport activities and live music. There are not only restaurants serving delicious seafood and Hoi An specialties, cool pub & bar like The Deck House and The Shore Club are also hotseller with beautiful beach view and varied drink menu.

Sailing along Thu Bon River
Located in Hoi An town, Quang Nam Province, Thu Bon River is often called the “Mother River” as it brings about rich layers of alluvial soil and bestows an abundance of fish on local fishermen.
Considered as a vigorous flow of Quang Nam Da Nang, Thu Bon River winds through jagged mountains in the Western Quang Nam and pours into fertile fields. On its way, the river has left numerous marks on local areas.
In the morning , from Hoi An old town, visitors usually explore Thu Bon river by boat or participate in an established cruise. Sitting on a boat, you will be attracted by the bustle of craft villages along the river’s bank such as Thanh Ha for pottery, Phuoc Kieu for bronze casting, Tra Que for vegetables, Ma Chau for silk and Phu Chiem for rice paper. Besides, visitors also can enjoy some local markets to deeply experience rural life and friendly people here.
A boat can carry up to about five passengers, and each ride typically takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Consider avoiding the roads altogether and taking in the city from the water.
If visitors enjoy the boat ride in the evening, they can release colorful lanterns onto the calm river water. They will be given a lantern made from colored paper with a candle in the middle to release onto the water while making a wish.
Thu Bon river has a profound spiritual value for both locals and tourists. The river has an ancient, gentle but profound beauty that makes visitors always want to learn and experience more in this river.

Vietnamese cuisine is one of the most versatile cuisines in the world. It is characterized by the balance in the flavor of the food. Of all the delicious dishes, my favorite in Hoi An is Banh Mi.
Beside the nurtorious Banh Mi Phuong, today we would love to talk about Banh Mi by Madam Khanh
Banh mi Hoi An is loved and favored by many foreign tourists, often referred to as Madam Khanh Banh Mi or The Banh Mi Queen, with nearly 30 years of establishment and serving thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. In the early days of establishment, the bakery only had a simple trolley. Still, thanks to his love of bread, the owner of The Banh Mi Queen tried to give life a variety of flavors, creating a fantastic feature if you have enjoyed it.
It is a unique French-Vietnamese sandwich that’s great for when you’re in need of a quick meal. Priced between VND 30,000and VND 40,000, it consists of a toasted baguette sandwich, pickled vegetables, pate, butter, soy sauce, cilantro, chillies, etc. They have 5 items namely Mixed, Vegetarian, Pork & Ham, Chicken and Fried eggs . Its address is 115 Tran Cao Van, Minh An Ward, Hoi An, Quang Nam. They open at 6:00am and close at 9:30pm. With its reputation, Banh mi is considered to be the essence of Vietnamese cuisine. 36 Hours in Hoi An
Imagine you are in my shoes, you only have 36 hours in Hoi An and you start to wonder where should you go. Here are some of my recommendations :).
First, i will check in with a lovely and elegant hotel with a very peaceful rice view, i like the garden space and close to nature, so i will choose according to my preferences, view very chill in Maison Fleur Luxury Hoi An
I know that the check in time is around 1pm to 2 pm but my flight arrived early that is fine, the receptionists here are very friendly, i can leave my luggage at reception desk and let’s get started. Most hotels offer bicycle service so I will start the bike journey. It takes 10 minutes to Cam Thanh Village. tried the experience of a traditional boat a bamboo basket for just 195,000. Cam Thanh Basket boat tour and cooking class is a great way to have fun day out and relax and see the real Vietnam
Then I would love to continue the bicycle journey to An Bang beach, just about 2 km from Maison Fleur Luxury Hoi An, the beach is now before my eyes. I enjoyed my lunch at a very nice restaurant in An Bang beach
I come back hotel and relax and then continue Hoi An city and local food tour begin 3:30 pm to evening time with local guide with 990,000nvd/pax/tour. Walk to the ancient town , visit Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Old House, Japanese Cover Bridge and Hoi An local Market, an amazing palace where you can observe the daily life of local people

And then walk to city to various food locates . A brief walk between the different food spots lets you soak in the city atmosphere while getting ready for the next tasty dish.
